Good Fortune on a Tiger Year

Celebrate the "Year of the Tiger" with friends and family at Hoi King Heen. The traditional Chinese big feast that brings success and prosperity to the New Year is skillfully created by Master Chef for Chinese Cuisine Chef Leung through his innovative Good Fortune Menu.

Delectable dishes that symbolize good luck, health and prosperity start with Yu Sheng (also known as "Lo Hei"), which consists of raw salmon fish and shredded vegetables with plum sauce dressing. Friends and family gather around the big Yu Sheng platter and greet each other with "Lo Hei" (which literally means an increase in abundance) while mixing the salad together in a fun, frenzy manner.

Other auspicious dishes includes Braised sliced abalone with bean curd sheet, Steamed eggs with scallop & sea urchin, Steamed soft-shell turtle with needle mushroom & fungus, Chinese perch fillet with shrimp paste & asparagus and Deep fried pork balls with dragon fruit. All of these are believed to bring good fortune and wealth.
