One of the most prized culinary delicacies in the world take centre stage at The Mistral throughout the month of November.  White truffle, the uncultivable mushroom from the forests of Alba, Italy is honored in special creations by Italian chef Claudio.

Chef Claudio’s annual homage to the white truffles begins in October as he presents a special menu to showcase this seasonal delicacy. 

Try Scramble eggs with spinach and truffle fonduta cheese sauce to start with. Or the Seared beef carpaccio with rocket salad, parmesan cheese and artichoke.  For entree, have a taste of Gratin homemade cannelloni asparagus and ricotta cheese with white truffle sauce, Pan fried sea bass with truffle mash, grilled asparagus and lobster sauce, Roast Angus tenderloin with thyme polenta, porcini mushrooms and truffle juice, and many more.

The white truffle’s exquisite scent, redolent of ground and wood and vaguely garlicky, and its fine texture are a delight to the senses.  A prized item among gourmets all over the world, white truffle is a culinary sensation!
